My Dad was recently in the hospital having a procedure done. Being the dutiful and loving daughter that I am, I brought my favorite comfort food for my Mom and I to share while we waited. The nurses at the beautiful and new Temecula Valley Hospital shared a passion for dark chocolate and agreed with me that it truly is, when it boils right down to it, a health food after all. I'm glad NPR agrees. And as far as the research goes, I would like to contribute the fact that sometime my husband and I walk to Trader Joe's (approximately 1 mile away) to get these which if added into the study would account for a great deal more than just 10%. We have a tortoiseshell kitty at Shopgibberish that pretty much runs our world. Her name is Lily, and when we got her from the rescue group, we were told that tortoiseshells get overlooked because their beauty is not the "norm". Our Lily has been the love of our lives and I think that her and Venus here would be bff's.And seriously, you can't look at this adorable little girl, and not think that science ROCKS!
