A Shout Out to Lily, the Shopgibberish "Healer"

Here's some light-hearted science for a "recover from a crazy Wednesday" morning!

Our Lily is one of the highlights of our lives at the moment. Truthfully, for the last 8+ years. She somehow manages to find a lap (no matter what you are doing or whether it is convenient or not) to settle on, to begin her "healing" ritual of purring. She is fairly obstinate about it too. You will literally have to boot her to get her moving from wherever she has landed! Unless Wayne is home. For this special daily occasion, she ALWAYS jumps up and runs to the door to wait for him. And it's fairly uncanny, someone else can arrive at nearly the same time of day, and she won't budge. But when she hears Wayne walk up...she just knows. I've seen lots of dogs exhibit that behavior, but never a cat. It's really good to know that she is helping us in more than just an emotional way!
